ILOILO City – Four fishermen were arrested in Barangay San Francisco, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo. They were accused of fishing without permit.
Personnel of the Bantay Dagat identified the suspects as Rod Barrios of Barangay Villaruz, Estancia, Iloilo; Juvy Bensurto of Barangay Taculan, Estancia; Kim Dela Cruz of Barangay Panon-an, Estancia; and Rene Rufa of Barangay Culasi, Roxas City, Capiz.
The suspects were detained at the Barotac Viejo police station on July 1./PN
