BACOLOD City – Four games will be played during the opening of the Dr. Eric Saratan Cup transport basketball tournament at the Talisay City gym.
Small Nonato, tournament director, said the games will be played after a simple opening ceremony.
Saratan, Talisay City mayor, will speak before 24 teams participating.
Games start at 1:30 p.m.
SANTODA will meet BJMP at 3:30 p.m. in Bracket C, followed by TABAJODA against Concepcion (PUJ) at 5 p.m. in Bracket A.
Dos Hermanas (PUJ) will play CCTODA at 6:30 p.m. in Bracket B while TABASODA clashes against BONTODA at 8 p.m. in Bracket D.
Nonato said the games will be played daily.
Each bracket will play a single round-robin and the Top 4 teams will advance to the knockout crossover quarterfinals.
The winners in each bracket will play another knockout match and the winner will advance to the four-team crossover semifinal.
The winners will dispute the title while the losers will vie for runner-up honors.
- Bracket A teams – TABAJODA, Concepcion (PUJ), JOCTODA, CATODA, MATTODA and TMA
- Bracket B teams – Dos Hermanas (PUJ), CCTODA CVHTODA, CONTODA, TANNE and PNP
- Bracket C teams – TABAJDOA, CCTODA, TANNE CATRODA, SANTODA and BJMP/BFP.
- Bracket D teams – TABASODA, BONTODA, CALTODA, CONCATODA, FETATODA and TACTODA./PN
