BACOLOD City – A 45-year-old man was shot to death in Sitio Malagapas, Barangay Tan-awan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday morning.
Police identified the fatality as Edwin Binaloga, a resident of the village, and the suspect as 30-year-old Junly Leon.
According to the police, Binaloga and his wife Elsa were going to their farm when attacked. The gunman then fed.
As this was being written, the whereabouts of Leon remained unknown.
Police have yet to ascertain the motive in the killing./PN
