ILOILO City – A total of 47 wanted persons were collared across Western Visayas from December 2 to 3, the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) said.

PRO-6 said its intensified campaign against fugitives within the region resulted in the apprehension of 10 most wanted persons and 37 categorized as other wanted persons.

PRO-6 director Brigadier General Jack L. Wanky lauded the various tracker teams and their unit commanders in chasing these law violators.

“These arrests manifest our firm commitment of pursuing the remaining wanted persons in the region. With this gain, we extend our deep gratitude to the members of the community for proving us the vital information that led to the arrest of these outlaws,” said Wanky.
