BORACAY – Five cruise ships with more than 7,500 passengers and crew members were scheduled to dock here this month, the Department of Tourism said.

Two will have maiden port calls: MV Celebrity Constellation of the Royal Caribbean on the 14th and MS Crystal Symphony on the 28th.

MV Celebrity Constellation will arrive at around 8 a.m. with 3,100 passengers.

The 14-days-and-13-nights cruise from Feb. 5 to 18 will bring tourists to Phu My and Da Nang in Vietnam; Hong Kong; Manila; and Boracay Island, en route to Kota Kinabalu in Borneo, Malaysia.

MS Europa 2 of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, awarded as Traveler’s World best cruise, will return to Boracay with 1,000 tourists and crew members on the 15th.

MS Seabourn Sojourn of Seabourn Cruise Line, with 800 passengers, will dock in the island resort on Feb. 25.

Moreover, MS Seven Seas Voyager of the Regent Seven Seas Cruises, with 1,200 guests, will drop anchor on the 28th at around 8 a.m.

Boracay was part of the ship’s 40-day-39-night one-way cruise from Auckland, New Zealand to Hong Kong from Jan. 10 to March 6.

Moreover, MS Crystal Symphony, with 1,500 passengers, will arrive on the 28th at around 10 a.m. The ship will have 50 port calls in 99 days and 98 nights in a one-way cruise from Melbourne, Australia to Tokyo, Japan from Jan. 5 to April 13.
