ILOILO City – The Station Drug Enforcement Team of the Manduirriao district police seized five plastic sachets of suspected shabu on Aug. 14 in Barangay Airport.
A suspect was also arrested – Gelfred Benitez of Barangay JMI Village, Guzman Jesena, Mandurriao.
According to Police Major Rey Sumagaysay, officer-in-charge of the Mandurriao police station, the sachets confiscated weighed more or less two grams and valued at P13, 600.
Benitez was taken to the Mandurriao police station.
He faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
