BACOLOD City – Six illegal drug suspects were caught in separate operations in Bacolod and Victorias cities yesterday. All of them yielded shabu.
The 39-year-old Orlando “Alog” Alais of Barangay 6, Victorias City was No. 6 in the police’s watch list of drug personalities.
Alais tried to escape when he sensed that the person to whom he sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P200 was an undercover officer, but other officers posted nearby subdued him, said Superintendent Herman Garbosa.
Four more sachets were seized from him.
Alais’ arrest came after the police caught two drug suspects in the same village on Monday — the 64-year-old Aladino Toledo Sr. and son Aladino Jr., 22.
Seven sachets of shabu and P590 cash were recovered from them.
Also yesterday, five drug suspects were arrested in Barangay 2 around 3:50 a.m.
One of those arrested, Lester Villarica of Barangay Tangub, was the target, said Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias.
Also caught were Argie Dio, Rodrigo Sancho, Nilo Descutido, and Angelo Santua, all residents of Barangay 2.
Five big sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were seized from them.
