Bacolod City – Seven persons were arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay 2.
They were identified as Chona Noserale, 40, Reynaldo Saluta, 39, Alejandro Libo-on, 31, Mark Anthony Torrecarion, 39, Bernardo Panaw, 60, Emily Alvarado, 40, and Morzet Sabacan, 39, a police report showed.
The suspects were caught playing and placing bets for the illegal numbers game “bingo”around 6:20 p.m. on Jan. 4, the report added.
They were detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 2, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9287, or an act increasing penalties for illegal numbers games./PN
