7 WV natives suit up for UAAP juniors volleyball

SIX Negrenses and one Ilongga are suiting up for their respective schools in the UAAP Season 81 juniors volleyball tournament.

Defending champions National University Lady Bullpups has the most recruits from Region 6 with four while De La Salle Zobel Junior Lady Spikers has two and Far Eastern University Baby Tamaraws has one.

Ma. Jessa Ordiales and Shaira Mae Jardio, both from Talisay City, Negros Occidental; Princess Maicah Larroza from Bacolod City; and Roma Mae Doromal from Iloilo City are in the Lady Bullpups.

Ordiales and Larroza previously played for Living Stones International School in Bacolod while Jardio was a former Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School standout.

The Junior Lady Spikers have Bacolod City native Angel Canino and reserve Kassandra Carballo, who is from Silay City, Negros Occidental.

Prior to moving to the Junior Lady Spikers, Canino played for Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts while Carballo was a former setter from Living Stones International School.

Meanwhile the Baby Tamaraws added Talisay City native Nikka Ann Medina, a former teammate of Jardio at Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School.

Also part of the competition are University of Santo Tomas Junior Tigresses, Adamson University Baby Falcons, University of the Philippines Integrated School, and University of the East./PN
