BACOLOD City – Eight police officers of the Police Regional Office 18 (PRO-18) received awards yesterday.
Superintendents Antonietto Cañete, Roberto Lingbawan, and Alvin Futalan, Police Officers 2 Patrick Garcia, Rey Anthony Banga and Angelo Pacardo, Senior Police Officer 1 Marlou Ragay, and Chief Inspector Mark Anthony Darroca were conferred medals during a flag-raising ceremony at the parade grounds of Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. in Barangay Estefania.
The officers were recognized for their “valuable and efficient performance.”
Chief Superintendent Leonardo Cesneros, deputy regional director for administration of PRO-18, led the ceremony.
Atty. Roselyn A Borja, regional director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, was also present as guest speaker.
“If agencies cooperate, only then we can succeed in our fight against illegal drugs,” said Borja./PN
