ILOILO City – Two men face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Romnick Mariano and Arjay Ramos were arrested in an antidrug operation of the police in Kalibo, Aklan on March 31.
After selling a sachet of shabu to an undercover police officer, the two were taken to the Kalibo police station.
The buy-bust operation was carried out on Oyo Torong Street, Kalibo around 1:30 p.m.
The suspects sold the sachet of shabu for P1,000.
They will be specifically charged with illegal drug possession and peddling – acts prohibited in Article 2, Section 5 of the antidrug law./PN
