BACOLOD City – Two brothers were arrested for allegedly selling prohibited drugs in Barangay Fabrica, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Jerson “Papot” De La Torre, 32, and Laneger De La Torre, 38, were hauled to the Sagay City police station lockup cell.
They sold a plastic pack of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P300 around 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
They further yielded for plastic packs of similar substance, a mobile phone, and around P12,000 cash, police said.
Meanwhile, in Calatrava, another suspected drug dealer was arrested in Barangay San Isidro.
Roberto Villadar, 33, of Barangay 6, San Carlos City, sold a plastic pack of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P300. He further yielded P400 cash.
His alleged cohort, Winefredo “Nonoy” Ambasing, managed to evade arrest around 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday./PN
