BACOLOD City – After a heated argument, a 39-year-old man was shot to death in Barangay 2, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Jonathan Baitan of Barangay 6-A, Victorias City had four gunshot wounds on the body.
Romulo Lumawod of the same barangay fired at him using a gun of a still unidentified caliber after an altercation outside the Victorias City Commercial Center around 7:25 p.m. on Sunday, police said.
Lumawod fled after the shooting. Police launched a manhunt against him.
Rescuers from the Victorias City government brought Baitan to the Ikaayong Lawas Foundation Hospital where he was pronounced dead./PN
