BACOLOD City – Lightning struck a 34-year-old woman in Barangay Buhangin, Isabela, Negros Occidental.
Jonah Chavez died. She sustained burns all over her body, said the municipal police led by Chief Inspector Edfel Balibadlan.
She was standing outside their house when lightning hit her on May 26. Her neighbors and relatives rushed her to the Ignacio Lacson Arroyo Sr. Memorial District Hospital, but she was declared “dead on arrival.”
