BACOLOD City – A 28-year-old resident of Barangay Mandalagan ended up behind bars for allegedly stealing the money of a storeowner and possessing a suspected prohibited drug.
Ney Antoniano, owner of a variety store and eatery on Villa Georgina Street, caught Regie Delector taking their P1,100 cash on May 27, police said.
Delector tried to escape but concerned citizens accosted him. Aside from the cash, a small plastic pack of suspected shabu and a bladed weapon were seized from him, said Police Station 3.
Delector was facing charges for theft, and violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and City Ordinance No. 358, which regulates the carrying of deadly weapons./PN
