BACOLOD City – A 55-year-old man died after he fell from a cliff in Barangay Mamburao, Pamplona town, Negros Oriental.
Around 8 a.m. on Saturday, Cristito Lara Ponce went fishing at the river but instead slipped from a 30-feet cliff.
A certain Rene Palalon, a resident of the barangay, who pastured his carabao in the area saw the victim.
Ponce was rushed to the nearest hospital but passed away around 7 a.m. on Sunday.
Police said the victim was probably attacked by epilepsy during the incident./PN
