BACOLOD City – Three suspected robbers were arrested in a follow-up operation of the Cadiz City police on Tuesday.
Mateo “Tay Boy” Canillo, 20, of Purok Kaisda-an, Barangay Daga in the city; Jay-R Comawas Arisgado, 19, a resident of Hacienda Bayabas 3, Barangay Daga; and John Rey Teodocio Gonzaga, 19, of Purok Kakahuyan in the same barangay allegedly help up a 26-year-old man on Monday.
According to the victim identified as Warren Inocencio Canonigo, a resident of Hacienda Ogie, Barangay Cabahug in the city, the suspects, who were on board a motorcycle, pointed a firearm at him and his nephews, Adrian Canonigo Duran and Rex Anne Galue Villanueva.
The suspects took away two mobile phones from them.
The items were recovered from Arisgado.
Also confiscated from him was one improvised gun pen gun loaded with M16 bullets./PN
