ILOILO City – For possessing an unlicensed firearm and prohibited drugs, a resident of La Paz district was facing a string of criminal charges.
Dick Columbres, 33, of Barangay Rizal was arrested yesterday in Barangay Baldoza and detained at the district police station.
Acting on a tip, Police Officer 3 Ronel Pampag and Police Officer 2 Roberto Solmerano went to Baldoza and found Columbres armed with a .9mm pistol.
They frisked him and recovered four plastic packs of shabu from his pocket.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act may be filed against Columbres./PN
