ILOILO City – Three new ambulances were turned over to the Iloilo City Emergency Response Team (ICER).
Each ambulance is equipped with minor to medium emergency equipment for injuries and accidents, two mounted auto-tanks, and stretcher.
These are also durable during calamites like flashflood.
The ambulances’ capability is for Basic Life Support (BSL) which is used for emergency responses, calamity and disaster rescue and for the transport of patients within the vicinity of the metropolis, said ICER head Darwin Papa.
The additional ambulances would strengthen the services to be delivered by the city government to the public, particularly during urgent situations, said Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog.
