ROXAS City – A 27-year-old man wanted for attempted homicide was arrested in Barangay Indayagan, Maayon, Capiz.
Recardo Bornales Jr. of the same village was taken to the police station after his arrest around 8 p.m. on Monday.
Officers served him an arrest warrant issued by Judge Filpia Del Castillo of the Maayon Municipal Trial Court.
A .38 revolver loaded with five bullets was also recovered from the suspect.
The court set the bail at P12,000.
In Barangay Yapak, Boracay Island, two sachets of shabu were seized from a resident.
Rafael Badilla of Sitio Bulabog, Barangay Balabag was detained at the municipal police station in mainland Malay after his arrest around 12:30 p.m. on Monday./PN
