BACOLOD City – Police were searching for the person who robbed the house of a 71-year-old resident of Barangay Tangub.
Joemarie Advincula lost around P31,800 worth of cash and valuables.
He discovered the burglary around 11:55 a.m. on July 26, a police report showed.
Among those he lost were a circuit breaker, a desk fan, a ceiling fan, an electric water pump jack, an electric iron, three pieces of plywood, two pairs of sneakers, a water container, two comfort room doors, and P5,000 cash.
Police have identified a suspect: 30-year-old Andrew Villaflor of the same barangay.
Advincula raised Villaflor, who is now living in a separate house, Police Station 8 investigation showed./PN
