ILOILO City – A 22-year-old business management student was beaten up at Smallville entertainment complex in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district.
Eric Berl Suegay, a resident of Barangay Dungon A, Jaro district and who studies at Central Philippine University, was unable to identify his attackers but claimed the attack was a result of a misunderstanding, a police report showed.
After getting first-aid treatment from the Iloilo City Emergency Response team personnel for his head injury, Suegay was taken to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao.
The Mandurriao police were still identifying the suspects and determining appropriate charges.
Suegay told them the incident happened around 3 a.m. on July 30 and his attackers were using two sport utility vehicles./PN
