ILOILO City – Wanted for attempted homicide, two men were arrested on Washington Street, Barangay Benedicto, Jaro district yesterday.
Officers from the Jaro police station served a warrant of arrest to residents Anselmo Latumbo, 55, and Harold Sumugat, 33, around 5:30 a.m.
Acting Presiding Judge Juana Judita Panigbatan-Nafarrete of the Regional Trial Court Branch 30 issued the warrant and set the bail at P12,000 for each suspect.
Latumbo and Sumugat were detained at the Jaro police station.
It was not clear as of this writing if the suspects have posted bail./PN
