‘ILOILO City – Two sachets of suspected shabu, a cellphone and two SIM (subscriber’s identity module) cards were seized in an antidrug operation in Sitio Sumpa, Barangay Poblacion, Concepcion, Iloilo yesterday.
The arrested Reynaldo Pendon faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
He was hauled to the Concepcion police station after operatives from the municipal police, Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Public Safety Company, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency caught him around 10 a.m.
Pendon sold suspected shabu to undercover operatives for P200, a police report showed.
The recovered items were with the Concepcion police./PN
