ILOILO City – A tracker team of the Santa Barbara, Iloilo police station caught a murder suspect in San Miguel town.
The 44-year-old Edwin Icar was taken to the Santa Barbara police station where he was detained after his arrest around 6:20 p.m. on Aug. 17.
Police officers led by Senior Inspector Jose Rey Pabalan served Icar – a resident of Barangay Balabag, Santa Barbara – a warrant of arrest while in Barangay San Jose, San Miguel.
Judge Loida I. Diestero-Maputol of the Regional Trial Court Branch 28 issued the warrant on April 24. She did not grant the suspect bail./PN
