BACOLOD City – A body of an alleged robbery suspect was found yesterday at the Hacienda Luisa in Barangay Granada.

The 26-year-old Rodney “Tabi” Maravilla of Barangay 2 sustained two gunshot wounds, a police report showed.

“He (Maravilla) is a member of the notorious Cuadra robbery group operating in Bacolod and other parts of Negros Occidental,” Bacolod City Police Office director Senior Superintendent Jack Wanky said.

Wanky said the group is the suspect in last week’s robbery at a convenience store in Barangay Mansilingan.

Recovered from the crime scene was an empty shell of an unknown gun.

Police believed that Maravilla was not killed in the area where he was found.

An autopsy will be conducted on the body, police said./PN
