ILOILO City – Unidentified motorcycle-riding men mauled and stabbed a trisikad driver in Mandurriao district.
Payjee Dionson, 28, of Imperial 4, Barangay Guzman-Jesena, Mandurriao was taken to the Western Visayas Medical Center.
He sustained stab wounds on the chest and the right hand, a police report showed.
A misunderstanding ensued between Dionson and the suspects, a bystander who broke up the attack told the police.
The attackers got off their motorcycle and mauled Dionson. One of them stabbed the trisikad driver, the police report stated.
Police have yet to identify and arrest the suspects in the attack around 6 p.m. on Aug. 20 as of this writing./PN
