BACOLOD City – After shooting a “Peeping Tom,” a man surrendered to the village officials in Barangay Poblacion 2, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
The 20-year-old Cris Jun Eva admitted to shooting Cris Junsarita, 30, of Barangay Luna, Sagay City after seeing the latter looking through the window of his room while he and his live-in partner were sleeping, a police report showed.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. on Aug. 27, police said.
Eva said he initially asked Junsarita who he was but the latter did not respond and continued looking at them.
Eva then took a .357-caliber gun and fatally shot Junsarita on the forehead.
He said he has done the crime “out of fear.”
Eva was turned over to the Sagay City police station and was detained./PN
