ILOILO City – An argument that ensued during a drinking session prompted a man in Barangay Sibaguan, Lambunao, Iloilo to stab his nephew.
The victim – 23-year-old laborer Nicky Boy Labetoria – sustained a stab wound on the neck.
He was taken to the Dr. Ricardo Y. Ladrido Memorial District Hospital, a police report showed.
Police were able to identify the suspect only as one “Christopher.”
He and Labetoria were binge drinking when they argued around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, the police report stated.
Christopher fled after the incident. Officers were still searching for him as of this writing./PN
