ILOILO City – A 25-year-old rape suspect had been arrested on Bonifacio Drive, City Proper.

Officers served resident Joselito Puerto an arrest warrant around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a Police Station 1 report showed.

Puerto was charged with three counts of rape (Article 266 (A) (1) (a) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by the Anti-Rape Law of 1997).

Presiding Judge Daniel Antonio Gerardo S. Amular of the Regional Trial Court Branch 35 issued the warrant. He set no bail bond.

Puerto was detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 1./PN
