BACOLOD City – In Barangay Manghanoy, La Castellana, Negros Occidental, a nephew was accused of killing his uncle.
Leo Espadera, 55, of the same village died of multiple stab wounds on the body, said Chief Inspector Irma Teoxon, La Castellana police head.
Police identified the suspect as Jeremy Hartillano, 38. He fled after the incident on Monday.
Hartillano attacked his uncle in a rice field, investigation showed. Police were looking into personal grudge and land conflict as motives.
Officers launched a manhunt against the suspect./PN
