BACOLOD City – A police officer was placed under restriction after allegedly shooting a man in Hacienda Rosario 1, Barangay Caridad, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Bago City police officer-in-charge Chief Inspector Joeffer Cabural identified him as Police Officer 3 Roger Superal.
From what the police gathered so far, Superal fatally shot resident Randy Nombres when the latter hacked him around 2 p.m. on Oct. 22.
Superal sustained a hack wound on the arm, police said
He was in the custody of the Bago City police station pending investigation.
Meanhwile, Cabural said Nombres’ family has yet to file charges./PN
