BACOLOD City – Police caught a shooting suspect in Barangay Daga, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The 40-year-old Loreto Europa Jr. opened fire at Rene Torres, 20, on Oct. 23, a police report showed. Both were residents of the village.
Torres sustained gunshot wounds on the left shoulder and the left chest.
Europa was detained at the Cadiz City police station lockup facility.
Recovered from Europa was a .38-caliber revolver, Cadiz City police station said.
Police were still determining the motive in the shooting./PN
