ILOILO City – A motorcycle driving practice turned fatal for a 13-year-old girl in Lambunao, Iloilo.
The motorcycle Pearlyn Dalumpines was driving figured in a crash in Barangay Caninguan, a police report showed. She died of head injuries.
Her brother Ferjan, 18, who was riding with her, was injured and confined at the Dr. Ricardo L. Ladrido District Hospital in the town.
The siblings were residents of Barangay Pajo, Lambunao.
The incident happened on Monday.
Dalumpines tried to overtake another motorcycle – driven by Dave Camino, 33, of Barangay Cabunlawan, Lambunao – but crashed against it instead.
Her motorcycle then swerved and collided into a pickup vehicle parked along the road, police said./PN
