ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay PHHC Block 22 NHA, Mandurriao was hospitalized after he was stabbed yesterday.
Ricardo Punzalan sustained stab wounds on various parts of the body.
He was confined at the Western Visayas Medical Center in the district, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as Rodel Andrade, 45.
A heated argument between Punzalan and Andrade at 8 a.m. led to the stabbing, the police report stated.
Andrade turned himself in to the police after the incident. He also surrendered the knife he used. He was detained at the district police station’s custodial facility./PN
