BACOLOD City – The man found lifeless on a stairway in a boardinghouse in Barangay Bantayan, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental was still unknown, police said.
The man – who the police said is a foreigner – was found around 6:45 p.m. on Nov. 5 by Marilyn Culanibang in the boardinghouse that a certain “Miss Catipay” owns.
The man was rushed to the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital but attending physician Marie Julien Hitosis said he was long dead.
The cause of the man’s death has yet to be determined.
Dumaguete City police were still investigating./PN
