ILOILO City – Police arrested rape and frustrated murder suspects in Sibunag, Guimaras and Calinog, Iloilo, respectively.
Officers caught the rape suspect Ruben Gardose in Barangay Dasal, Sibunang where he also lived.
The 44-year-old was detained at the municipal police station after his arrest on Wednesday.
The court did not recommend a bail bond for his temporary liberty.
Yesterday police caught the 26-year-old Romeo Peñaflorida in Barangay Dalid, Calinog.
A resident of the same village, Peñaflorida was wanted for frustrated murder.
He was detained at the Calinog police station after his arrest at 7:30 a.m.
The court recommended a P200,000 bail bond for the suspect./PN
