ILOILO City – In Barangay Sampaguita, City Proper, a 42-year-old resident accused his uncle of attacking him.
Carl Erv Jomalesa told the police Arleen Alejandro, 65, struck him with a baton on the stomach during a confrontation in his house.
Both had a “misunderstanding” at around 9:45 p.m. on Monday, a police report showed.
Jomalesa claimed Alejandro also stabbed him missed. A grappling ensued until Jomalesa managed to escape, the complainant said.
Jomalesa sustained scratches on the chest and a laceration on the middle finger.
Police referred the case to the barangay lupon./PN
