ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Pungsod, Santa Barbara, Iloilo was facing an illegal possession of firearm charge.
Elmar Subarba did not have a license to carry the .45 pistol officers seized from him, a police report showed.
Subarba was in Barangay Taft, Santa Barbara at around 9:30 p.m. on Friday when the police noticed the gun tucked in his waist, the report stated.
The firearm was loaded with three bullets, the report added.
Subarba failed to present any pertinent document proving his legal ownership of the weapon, said the police.
He was hauled to the Santa Barbara police station detention facility./PN
