ILOILO City – A woman reported to the police that she was attacked by fellow villagers in Zone 5, Barangay Boulevard, Molo district.

The 38-year-old Leah Montaño sustained a bruise on the right arm and complained of pain on the neck and jaw.

Montaño identified her attackers as Morito Baylon and Danila Henilla.

She claimed that Baylon and Henilla threatened to harm her minor nephew at around 10 p.m. on Dec. 19.

When she confronted them, Henilla pulled her hair, while Baylon punched her on the right arm and choked her, Montaño told the police.

Their neighbors pacified Baylon and Henilla, a police report showed. The two cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.

Police referred the dispute to the barangay lupon./PN
