BACOLOD City – Police were still determining the motive in stabbing a man in Barangay Alim, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental.
The 46-year-old resident Rex Tacapan was detained at the Hinoba-an municipal police station lockup facility on Dec. 21, a police report showed.
Tacapan stabbed the 44-year-old resident Gorio Sedicta using a knife while the latter was on his way home on the same day, the report further stated.
Sedicta sustained stab wounds on the left leg and arm. He was brought to the Eleuterio T. Decena Memorial Hospital in Hinoba-an where he was currently under treatment, police said.
From what the police gathered so far, Tacapan was drunk when he attacked Sedicta./PN
