BACOLOD City – Yesterday, police arrested a man in Barangay Alijis for illegal possession of firearm.
He was the 28-year-old resident Ian Frits Tan, a police report showed.
Officers from Police Station 7 led by Senior Inspector Ramel Sarona recovered from Tan a .357 magnum revolver loaded with five live bullets around 6 a.m.
The police were responding to a commotion report in the village when the caught Tan.
Tan was detained at the Police Station 7 custodial facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
