ILOILO City – After allegedly shooting his stepson, a resident of Tapaz, Capiz turned himself in to the municipal police.

The 58-year-old Rey Glimer was in the custody of the Tapaz police station, a police report showed.

Glimer fired at Danilo Galagate, 27, in Barangay Poblacion, Tapaz at around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, the report stated. It was not immediately clear why.

Galagate sustained a gunshot wound on the right chest. A responding police officer brought him to the Tapaz District Hospital. After treatment, the attending physician declared him an outpatient./PN
