ILOILO City – A 19-year-old security guard was accused of threatening to shoot a man using a 12-gauge shotgun.
Ruben Miguel, a resident of Barangay Balabag, Malay, Aklan and working for Kislap Security Agency, was arrested.
Jose Wennil Hinguillo, 20, told the police Miguel fired the gun and trained it at him in Sitio Sinagpa in Barangay Balabag where he lived.
The incident happened at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. It was not immediately clear what circumstances led to it.
Police seized from the security guard the shotgun loaded with two live cartridges.
Charges for grave threat and violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act may be filed against Miguel, police said./PN
