ILOILO City – Accused of violating the law against violence against women and children, a man was arrested in Barangay Supoc, Lambunao, Iloilo, a police report showed.
Norman Porras was charged with three counts of violation of the Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004.
Currently in the custody of the Lambunao police station, Porras will have to shell out P24,000 – the bail bond set by the court – to spare himself from detention.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest, issued by Judge Globert Justalero of the Regional Trial Court Branch 32, at around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday./PN
