No bail for Tapaz homicide suspect

ILOILO City – The court did not grant a homicide suspect from Tapaz, Capiz a bail bond for his temporary liberty.

The 65-year-old Modesto Benjamin was arrested in Barangay San Julian, Tapaz.

Officers served the resident of Barangay Apero, Tapaz a warrant of arrest at around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.

Benjamin was detained at the Tapaz police station.

Judge Daniel Antonio Gerardo S. Amular of the Regional Trial Court Branch 21 issued the warrant on Dec. 21, 2017./PN
