BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Sitio Canibo, Barangay Okiot, Bais City, Negros Oriental.
Police Inspector Minard Carbona, head of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), identified the man as the 32-year-old resident Michael Prospero.
Prospero was caught after he sold shabu to an undercover officer for P500 around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.
When frisked, Prospero yielded one more sachet of shabu, police said.
Prospero was detained at the Bais City police station custodial facility and facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
