ILOILO City – Charged with estafa, a resident of Mabini Street, Maasin, Iloilo has been arrested, a police report showed.
The municipal police took the 39-year-old Karen Ricaforte in custody.
Officers served her a warrant of arrest at around 8:20 a.m. on Tuesday.
Judge Gemalyn Faunillo-Tarol of the Regional Trial Court Branch 31 issued the warrant on Dec. 29, 2017 and set the bail bond at P28,000.
It was not immediately clear as of this writing if the suspect has posted bail./PN
