ILOILO City – Two students reported to the police they were robbed at knifepoint on Hughes Street, Roxas City.
They were Jan Jason Borres, 20, of Barangay Baybay, Roxas City and Carissa Lasola, 20, of Barangay Poblacion, Jamindan, Capiz, a police report showed.
Two unidentified men approached them while they were walking on Hughes Street, Roxas City at around 8 p.m. on Monday, a police report showed.
The suspects divested them of an Acer smartphone, an iPhone 6s and P600 cash, the victims told the police.
Police were still searching for the suspects, who the victims said fled after the incident./PN
