ILOILO City – A resident of Zone 6, Barangay Boulevard, Molo district complained to the police about her noisy drunken neighbors.
The 44-year-old Dorothy Casimero claimed they caused her a sleepless night.
Casimero said she arrived home from work at around 9:56 p.m. on Jan. 16 to find her neighbor Joseph Palomero and his family and friends in a drinking binge at the latter’s compound.
They were too noisy, she told the police. Casimero also believed Palomero and company were talking behind her back.
Barangay tanods went to Palomero’s house at around 12 midnight and asked them to pipe down. But her neighbors continued making noise when the village watchmen left, Casimero told the police.
The Palomeros cannot be reached for comment as of this writing./PN
